More playtime for everyone!
FOOOTY was created from frustration of one of the founders of Apollo-11 Creator Studio. Going on holidays with his family they often forgot to take a ball for their kids to play with (or couldn't fit one in the suitcase). They ended up buying a new ball on many trips so their home eventually became a “museum of footballs.”
The frustration led to a creative process with their creative team. The initial idea was a T-shirt that could be folded into a ball! The t-shirt had a connection system, so you could fold it into a ball that could be kicked? After a lot of trial & error with this clicking system they experienced that much more would be possible if they skipped the T-shirt. So they did... The unique FOOOTY shape was born. The connection elements became the base to create anything you want and to play anywhere you want... (Still, if you want, you can put a T-shirt inside of your creation. It can help when it's a bit too windy ;-)
FOOOTY was successfully launched on Kickstarter. Many FOOOTY packs traveled around the world. In 2017 it was officially introduced in retail during the international Toyfair in Nuremberg. In the meantime this Dutch invention made many friends. It is available in many stores around the world and since 2019 even at MOMA Museum in New York.

The Foooties are made out of 100% recyclable PP. We feel the responsibility to continuously research and experiment to improve sustainability. This we do in cooperation with the BetterFutureFactory.
Our adventure started in Amsterdam, but in the meantime people all around the world enjoy the fun of playing FOOOTY. We work together with great partners around the globe that embrace our purpose to offer more playtime for everyone. FOOOTY is now also available in the USA via Wicked Uncle.
